Editorial method
Claims should be traceable.
Splash.toys separates what we can verify from what a seller says. Strong recommendations require comparable evidence under a disclosed method.
Our evidence labels
- Measured: dimensions, setup time, drainage time, or another observation recorded directly.
- Observed: behavior seen during use but not reduced to a measurement.
- Manufacturer claim: a specification or promise attributed to its source.
- Owner pattern: a recurring theme found across reviews, treated as a lead rather than proof.
- Unverified: relevant information we could not confirm.
What we will not do
- Publish paid placement as editorial judgment.
- Call something best, top, or a winner without a common evaluation protocol.
- Treat an age label as a substitute for caregiver judgment or active supervision.
- Hide important fit failures, missing evidence, or testing limits.
